Wildlife world

In Darling Harbour in Sydney there is a new wildlife park. A wonderful showcase of Australian animals. We took the kids, Miss Shelly and JC to see all the wonderful animals.

There is a very cool butterfly exhibit. Miss Shelly's pink sweatshirt attracted the butterflies and Riley got to touch one!

Corban and Daddy got to touch and incredibly long snake... I elected to stand at a distance :0)

A wombat! This guy was very active and put on a bit of a show for us.
A big statue of a cassowary... we got to see a real one of these too!

Both Riley and Corban love frogs, this is a model of a tree frog. The colors on the real ones were just as vibrant!

A little wallaby.
The wildlife park had an exhibit of Dingo pups. We got to see them on their last day there.

JC and Eli peeking through the hole in the cave at the pups.

The bird exhibit was amazing! There is nothing like the sounds of the birds in Australia. Eli loved to look at the rosellas... they quite enjoyed hanging out with him too!

Corban standing in front of a big red kangaroo... this is a statue, you probably wouldn't want to get too close to a real one of these.

It's kind of hard to see in this picture but this is a baby koala. It was so cool to get this close to a baby koala. Contrary to popular belief, we don't often see these in the wild.
Thanks for a wonderful day Miss Shelly and JC!
